The Funeral Service for Mr. Jamarian J. Durham of Americus, Georgia will be held Monday, December 30, 2024, at 2:30 p.m. at Jerusalem Baptist Church in Smithville, Georgia with Reverend George F. Monts officiating. Interment will follow at Isreal Cemetery.
On February 14, 2004, in Americus, Georgia, a beautiful and caring angel, Jamarian J. Durham, was born to Ms. Lasharon D. Brantley and the late Mr. Maurice B. Durham. He graduated from Americus Sumter High School in May of 2022. He loved his Chevron fried chicken and basketball.
Jamarian departed this earthly life on December 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Thelma Brantley, who raised him and Lucille Durham and his grandfathers: Sammie C. Mitchell Sr. and George Durham.
His legacy and love will be remembered by his mother, Lasharon Brantley of Americus, Georgia; his siblings: Jar’taurus Brantley, Ja’mayri Durham, Kenji Durham, Connie Wallace, Maurice Durham Jr., and Sha’Kayla Durham all of Americus, Georgia, Iletha Durham and Sha’Kevia (Keondrea) Durham both of Columbus, Georgia; his aunts: Belinda (Ernest) Brantley, Imogene Angry, Erma Mitchell, Michelle Mitchell, La’Kesha Mitchell, Lashawnda Mitchell, Kelly Brantley, Deidre Brantley, Georgia May Solomon, Gloria Hawkins, Mrs. Brenda (Rodriques) Green, and Mrs. Sandra (Tommy) Jackson all of Americus, Georgia; his uncles: Sammie C. Mitchell Jr. and Victor Mitchell both of Americus, Georgia, Eric Mitchell of Atlanta, Georgia, Antonio Brantley of Americus, Georgia, Travis (Tiffany) Brantley of Douglasville, Georgia, Jason Mitchell, Brian Mitchell and Albert Durham, Sr., all of Americus, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, to include his devoted cousins: Andre Lockhard and Miranda McCray.
