The Graveside Service for Mr. Shanadore Chanell Curry age 61 will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at New Hope A.M.E. Church in Smithville, Georgia.

Mr. Shanadore Chanell Curry, a.k.a. “Dody”, was born on February 14,1961, to the parentage of Queen Esther Curry and Lawrence Gay Jr. He was educated in the school system in Flint Michigan and graduated from Dillard High School in Florida. Shanadore relocated to Georgia and lived with his father, stepmother and sisters for a period of time before moving to Atlanta, Georgia. He loved his family and friends. Shanadore’s happiest moments were when both sides of his family came together as one big family. Shanadore married the love of his life, the late Patricia Curry, on February 14, 1985. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Curry, grandparents, and stepmother Gwendolyn Gay.

The Funeral Service for Mr. Derick Demetrius Wilder of Americus, GA will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. on the lawn of West's Mortuary at 731 N. Lee Street Americus, GA with Minister Niikki Brown officiating.

Derick Demetrius Wilder was born August 11, 1976 in Miami, Florida to the parentage of the late Mr. Dwellis Wilder and the late Mrs. Brenda Sue Jackson. He attended and graduated in 1994 from Sumter County School. Derick worked at Taco Bell and Church's Fried Chicken for over 20 years. He also worked at Captain D's for about a year. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Dwellis Wilder Jr, his grandmother, Mrs. Minnie Osborne, and his grandfather, Mr. Eddie Osborne. Derick died on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Pharies Elaine Clark of Montezuma, Georgia will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant/Travelers Rest CME Church, 315 Norris Street, Montezuma, Georgia. Interment will follow at the Champ Waters Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia. Pharies Clark was born on December 16, 1942, to Charlie Hubbard Turner and Sarah Dean Turner.  After graduating from D.F. Douglass High School, she attended Fort Valley State University. At a young age, Pharies became a member of Travelers Rest CME Church. She was a faithful and dedicated member all her life. She worked for many years at Southern Frozen Foods. She was an overall loving, caring, person who had many friends. She married Jimmie Lee Clark and from this union four children were born: James, Andre, Sarvondre and Lu-Keldric.

Pharies was a devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Baccheus Chapter No. 124, PHA, for thirty-four years as well as a loyal member of other concordant houses - Heroines of Jericho, Joshua Court No. 7 and Order of the Golden Circle, Hilda C. Lyman, Assembly No. 353.

Pharies Clark passed away on March 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lee Clark; parents, Sarah Dean Turner and Charlie Hubbard Turner; siblings, Charles Felton, Charles E. Turner, and Sarah Ardelle Jackson, and son, Lu-Keldric W. Clark.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her sons: James Clark (Angela) and Andre Clark, and daughter, Sarvondre Clark; granddaughters: Myeisha Clark and Nevaeh Clark; great-granddaughter, Kassidy Clark; a host of nieces and nephews; cousins: Voncile Oliver, Richard Dean and Cordelia Perkins; brother-in-law, Eddie Clark; sisters-in-law: Daisey Sniffen, Lois Clark and Janice Sears; and a host of family and friends who cherished her dearly as she spread her love and joy.

The Graveside Service for Ms. Pauline Harris of Montezuma, Georgia will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia with Reverend Allen Waters officiating. Miss Pauline Harris was born in Macon County, Georgia on December 8, 1948, to the late Archie Lee and Annie Mae Harris. Pauline, affectionately called “Sister” by her family, grew up in Montezuma and was educated at the Historic D.F. Douglass High School in Montezuma, Georgia, graduating with honors in 1967. She continued her education by matriculating at The Fort Valley State (College) University.

Pauline was reared in a Christian home. She acknowledged Christ as her Savior and followed His word daily. She was a faithful member of the New Hope Baptist Church until her health began to decline. Pauline loved God and her family. She loved listening to gospel music. She also enjoyed walking and sitting in the sunshine. Sister exemplified how to love and be humble. With a big smile, she greeted everyone with respect as “Mr. or “Ms.”, no matter what age.

On Thursday, March 3, 2022, Sister departed this earthly life for an eternal life. She was preceded in death by her brother, Sergeant George Harris and a great nephew, Omar D. McDonald.

She leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, a brother, W.D. Harris, Sr. of Montezuma, Georgia; a special devoted niece, Kimberly Davis (Jimmy) of Montezuma, Georgia; niece and nephews: Antoinette Harris of Newark, New Jersey, Willie Don Harris, Jr. of Forest Park, Georgia, Marcell Harris of Macon, Georgia, Jary K. Smith (Samuel) of Byron, Georgia; great-great niece and nephew: Eryn McKenzie Thomas and Omar Harris; loving cousins: Miltee Manning of Fort Valley, Georgia and Betty Collier of Oglethorpe, Georgia; god niece and nephew: Kaya Waters and D’Mareah Hudson; a host of beloved cousins, friends, the New Hope Baptist Church Family, the Five Points Mennonite Community and the staff of Piedmont Hospital Hospice in Macon, Georgia.
