The Funeral Service for Mrs. Pharies Elaine Clark of Montezuma, Georgia will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant/Travelers Rest CME Church, 315 Norris Street, Montezuma, Georgia. Interment will follow at the Champ Waters Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we ask that you MASK UP and continue to practice social distancing for your protection and for the safety of others.  

Pharies Clark was born on December 16, 1942, to Charlie Hubbard Turner and Sarah Dean Turner.  After graduating from D.F. Douglass High School, she attended Fort Valley State University. At a young age, Pharies became a member of Travelers Rest CME Church. She was a faithful and dedicated member all her life. She worked for many years at Southern Frozen Foods. She was an overall loving, caring, person who had many friends. She married Jimmie Lee Clark and from this union four children were born: James, Andre, Sarvondre and Lu-Keldric.

Pharies was a devoted member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Baccheus Chapter No. 124, PHA, for thirty-four years as well as a loyal member of other concordant houses - Heroines of Jericho, Joshua Court No. 7 and Order of the Golden Circle, Hilda C. Lyman, Assembly No. 353.

Pharies Clark passed away on March 12, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Lee Clark; parents, Sarah Dean Turner and Charlie Hubbard Turner; siblings, Charles Felton, Charles E. Turner, and Sarah Ardelle Jackson, and son, Lu-Keldric W. Clark.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her sons: James Clark (Angela) and Andre Clark, and daughter, Sarvondre Clark; granddaughters: Myeisha Clark and Nevaeh Clark; great-granddaughter, Kassidy Clark; a host of nieces and nephews; cousins: Voncile Oliver, Richard Dean and Cordelia Perkins; brother-in-law, Eddie Clark; sisters-in-law: Daisey Sniffen, Lois Clark and Janice Sears; and a host of family and friends who cherished her dearly as she spread her love and joy.
