The Funeral Service for Mr. Roy Turner, Jr. of Montezuma, Georgia will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Byromville, Georgia.
Mr. Roy Turner, Jr. was born on February 3, 1953, in Tampa, Florida to the late Roy Turner, Sr. and Ozzie Ree Trice Turner. He acquired his education in the Macon County public school system and graduated from Flint River Farms School. At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior and joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He was a dedicated and faithful member of Mt. Olive where he served as an usher.
Mr. Roy Turner, Jr. departed this life on January 29, 2024, at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. His loving memory will forever be cherished by his wife, Jacqueline Turner of Montezuma, Georgia; his step-children: Tony Alonzio Williams, Jr. (Stephanie) of Atlanta, Georgia, Jammie Williams and Jasper Williams both of Montezuma, Georgia; two grandchildren: Briyonne Kendrick and Tony Williams III; siblings: Cassandra Johnson and Tommy Felton, Sr. (Pearlie) both of Montezuma, Georgia; brother-in-law, Willie B. McGhee (Sandra), sisters-in-law: Thelma Nelson and Mattie Lee (Tommy); cousins: Ricky Green and Henry Green of Cincinnati, Ohio; devoted niece, Demetrica Redding; other relatives and friends.
