The Graveside Service for Mr. Danny Gooden will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at the Eastview Cemetery with Pastor Larry Sims, Sr. officiating.
Mr. Danny Gooden was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 18, 1953, to the late Dan Edward Gooden and the late Lucy B. Gainer. He received his education in the public schools of Sumter County. Mr. Gooden transitioned at his home in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, August 6, 2022. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Arthur J. Goodman, Richland Gaynor and Lee Warren Gooden; an aunt, Nancy Evans; and his grandmothers: Irma L. Fuller and Ethel L Tolbert.
Left to cherish his memories are his children: Evette Gooden of Macon, Georgia, Antonio Stephens (Stacey), Dannetta West and Arika Bowens all of Americus, Georgia; three brothers: Jonathan Goodman and Charles Edward Gooden both of Jacksonville, Florida and Dwight Gooden of New York; four sisters: Betty (Harold) Jones, Mercedes (Honda) Fluker, Sheila Gooden and Veronica Davis all of Tampa, Florida; one sister-in-law, Mildred Gooden; eleven grandchildren; Jamecia McClary, D’Adrian Lewis, Brandon Wilbon, Bridgette (Anthony) Meno, Tremaine Stephens, Jasmine Stephens, Asya Woods, Autumn West, Dantrell Jordan, Alderika Bowens and Amber Spikes; ten great[1]grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friends.
