Mrs. Fannie Mae Sheffield of Americus, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at the Lillian Carter Health & Rehab Center in Plains, Georgia. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by West’s Mortuary.
Mrs. Fannie Mae Morgan Sheffield was born on June 1, 1942 in Sumter County, Georgia to the late Alberta Morgan and the late Willie Morgan and the late Dorothy Sheffield.
She is survived by three children: Eugene Sheffield, Dennis Sheffield Jr. both of Americus Georgia and Linda and Augustine Okafor of Nigeria; two sisters-in-law: Dorothy Ware of Americus, Georgia and Lizzie Sheffield of Atlanta Georgia; six grandchildren; a special best friend, Mammie McCray and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
