The Graveside Service for Mrs. Ruby Miller of Montezuma, Georgia will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at noon at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Montezuma, Georgia. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we ask that you MASK UP and continue to practice social distancing for your protection and for the protection of others.

MrsRuby Mae Joiner Miller was born November 23, 1934,to the late Asmarie Joiner in Crisp County, Georgia. Reared by her grandparents Simon and Lula Joiner, she was known by family and friends as "Cokey". Born in a family of six children, five preceded her in death which included Juanita Joiner, Frederick Joiner, Sr., Louise Joiner McGhee, Lois Joiner and Joyce Marie Trice. She was educated in the public school system of Crisp County. She joined New Hope Baptist Church at an early age and later joined Zion Hill Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her death. She served faithfully as the Mother of the church, Usher Board President, and secretary of the churchOn February 11, 1956, she was united in holy matrimony to Bennie Lee  Miller Sr. This union was blessed with six children. One preceded her in death (Mazerine Miller Adams). On Wednesday morning, January 5, 2022, the death angel sealed the lips of our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. “Servant of God, well done.”

 

Left to remember her with love and affection are five loving and devoted children: Gloria Joiner of Montezuma, Georgia, Irene Miller Hubbard (Kenneth) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Bennie Lee Miller, Jr. of Montezuma, Georgia, Charlie R. Miller (Yvonne) of Ellenwood, Georgia and Lynda Miller Fobbs (Danny) of Riverdale, Georgia; son-in-Law, Leroy Adams of Montezuma, Georgia; eighteen loving grandchildren; seventeen loving great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Willie B. McGhee; devoted cousins: Mary Barrett of Orlando Florida and Shirley Brown of Montezuma, Georgia;  a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
