The Graveside Service for Mr. Willie Spencer of Americus, Georgia will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the Eastview Cemetery with Rev Clinton Aldridge officiating. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we ask that you MASK UP and continue social distancing for your protection and for the safety of others. 

Mr. Willie L Spencer was born January 17, 1952 in Americus, Georgia to the late Katie Wiggins and the late Elmer Spencer. He was employed as a truck driver for 47 years for the City of Americus and Trans Waste Industries until he retired in 2017. Willie died on January 12, 2021 at Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center. Along with his parents, Willie was preceded in death by his brother Johnny Spencer.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons: Willie Reddick and Christopher (Talesha) Johnson; his daughter, Letha (Patrick) Smith; his five siblings: Ernestine (Joseph) Davis, Regina (Minister John) Hayes, Lisha Wiggins, Walter (Barbara) Wiggins and Rodney ( Stacie) Gordon; seven grandchildren: Ayvah Reddick, Alaiyah Reddick, Ta’niya Johnson, Christopher Lee Johnson Jr, Shimon Perry, Jacquail Johnson and Trelisha Banks; six great grandchildren: Shimon Perry, Shimyjhe Perry, Syncere Perry, A’myiah Johnson, Journee Johnson, and Rubee Simons; eight nieces and nephews: Angela Denise Spencer, Kolvin Holt, Derelle Hayes, John Hayes lll, Shenita Wiggins, Angela Marie Spencer, Latoya Mack and Janay ( Derrick) Bagby; devoted friends: Cathy Wilkerson, Erica Lusane, Kobie Oliver, Kaisley Wrght, Tordera Barner, Clyde Bo Anthony, Tony Cooper and Eddie Lusane. Several other relatives and friends also survive.
