Mr. J. B. Walton, Jr., of Miami, Florida formerly of Americus, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at his home in Miami, Florida. The Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Antioch Cemetery in Americus, Georgia. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we ask that you MASK UP and continue social distancing for your protection and for the safety of others.

Mr. Walton was the oldest of 8 children born to the late Mr.  J. B. “Stag” Walton, Sr. and the late Mrs. Emma Mae Brantley Walton. “Jr.” as he was affectionately known, attended Westside Elementary School, Plains, GA and Sumter County High School, Americus, GA.  At an early age he moved to Miami, FL with his friend Bubba.  He worked for Kendall Toyota Company as a Master Mechanic until he retired.

He leaves to cherish his memories his siblings: Emma (Albert) Lewis, Reatha Greene, Dr. Mattie P. Walton, Willie Bell Walton, Eunice (James) Hawkins of Americus, GA and James Walton and Johnny Walton, Miami, FL; three aunts: Mrs. Ozie Mae Walton, Albany, GA, Mrs. Catherine Volley and Mrs. Susie Wafford, Americus, GA; one uncle, Rev. W. G. Grover, Leslie, GA

I know losing a love one in death is very sad but we all can take comfort in the scriptures where it tell us that we have the hope of seeing our dear love ones again (John 5:28,29).I am so sorry for your loss
