Gregory Bernard Kendrick, 67, affectionately known as “Greg”, was born in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Louise Kendrick and Eddy Burke October 1, 1952. Greg attended Vienna High & Industrial School in Vienna, Georgia and studied finance at Shelby State Community College, Memphis, Tennessee.  He proudly joined the United States Marine Corps where he received training in Computers and Truck Driving.

Greg accepted Christ at a young age and studied the bible with his grandmother. He knew and believed God’s Word and enjoyed the life that he lived sharing with many people. Greg was employed by several different companies but he loved driving trucks and traveling. Greg was a very giving person and, as the saying goes, he wanted to and liked to “keep it moving”.

On June 10, 2020, Greg transitioned from labor to reward. He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his step mother Ethel Burke and two brothers, Leroy Burke and Jeffrey Dino Burke.

Gregory leaves to cherish his precious memories six siblings, brothers: Ronald (Carlos) Herring of Montezuma, Georgia, Larry (Gazette) Burke, Darryl (Vickie) Burke, sisters: Ann Allison Bailey, Elaine (Samuel) Jones and Sylvia (Francois) Theodore all of Florida;  A Dear Caring & Dedicated Cousin, Valerie West, her sons & grandchildren; godson, Avery Stewart; The Patriarch of the Kendrick/West family, Cousin J.W. West all of Montezuma, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and very good friends
