The funeral service for Mrs. Rosie Anderson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida will be held on Saturday, July, 20, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of West's Mortuary in Americus, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery.
Mrs. Rosie Anderson was born on October 7, 1918 in Sumter County, Georgia to the late Joel and Berdie King. Rosie later met and married the late Albert Anderson. After her husband's passing, she resided at Harbor Beach Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida until God called her home.
Rosie leaves to cherish her memories five nieces: Lucille Barner of Bridgton, New Jersey, Dorothy Jean Moulton of Jacksonville, Florida, Emma Lowe, Doris Furlow (Charles) and Sharrian King all of Americus, Georgia; two nephews: Arthur King (Jackie) of Atlanta, Georgia and Malcolm King (Janet) of Americus, Georgia; a host of other nieces and nephews; great nephew, Walter Jackson, Sr.; two devoted great great nieces: Jocelyn Jackson and Tangela Jackson both of Pompano Beach, Florida.
