Korneal Markeas Barker affectionately known as "Kash" was born on March 22, 2011 in Sumter County, Georgia to Keandra Lusane (Christopher) and Cornelius Barker Sr. He was educated in the Sumter and Bibb County School Systems. Kash graduated from Pre-K at Sandy’s Sandbox and was a kindergarten student at Riley Elementary School.
Kash's life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His favorite cartoons were Peppa Pig and Blaze and the Monster Machine. He enjoyed riding his dirt bike, playing basketball and surfing the internet on an IPhone. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Kash had touched in some small way throughout his short, yet very memorable life. Korneal was granted his angel wings on March 18, 2017. He was preceded in death by his brother Cornelius Barker Jr., grandfather, Henry Lusane, Jr. and great grandmothers: Doris Lusane and Linda Clemons.
Korneal will be cherished and lovingly remembered by his parents: Keandra Lusane (Christopher) and Cornelius Barker, Sr.; siblings: Arnealia Barker, NyAsiah Fuller, and Kornelius Barker; grandparents: Angelia Lusane-Cox (Johnny), Teresa Barker and Carlton Mable; great grandparents: Benny Clark (Minnie), Henry Lusane Sr., Gail Barker, Willie Barker (Sylvia), Minnie McDonald and Johnny Mable (Patricia); great great grandparents: Rosa Mae Clemons and Blanche Tucker; aunts and uncles: Octavia Lusane-Williams (Kahraccus), Naporsha Beason, Monique Garry, Marquesha Barker, Henry Lusane III (Jasmine), Johnn'Angelia Cox, Braylan Wilkerson, Harmony Milledge, Za'Riyah Mitchell and Imari Mable; a devoted cousin Kaden Williams; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends also survive.
