Funeral services for Mr. Wilbert G. Gilford will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Kingdom of Heaven Ministries with Pastor Courtney Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Lebanon Cemetery in Plains, GA
Mr. Wilbert Gean Gilford was born in Sumter County Georgia on March 24, 1957 to the parentage of the late Mr. Henry Gilford and Mrs. Autry Gilford. He joined the St. John A.M.E church at a early age. Later in life he received Christ and joined Kingdom of Heaven Ministry. He received his education in Sumter County School System. He was preceded in death by four brothers.
He leaves to cherish his memories wife Patricia Ann Gilford, two sons: Wilbert Gean Gilford of Americus, GA and Koshama Richardson of St. Augustine, FL; a daughter, Natavia (Broderick) Hawkins of Atlanta, GA; three brothers: Thomas (Ruth) Gilford of Statesville, NC, Freddie Gilford of Rivera Beach, FL. And Roy (Dolly) Lockett of Pierce, FL; five sisters: Jacqueline (Alton) Green of Cuthbert, GA, Eliion Francis, Mary Morgan of Detroit, MI, Joann Gilford of Americus, GA and Leola Brown of Rivera Beach, FL; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren; one aunt, Ms. Janie Flowers of Delray Beach, FL and a host of nieces and nephews
