Mrs. Wilma Lee Roach Hunt Fuller was born December 4, 1941 in Sumter County, Georgia to Willie and Earnest Roach. Wilma was known and loved by her many friends and relatives in the Brooklyn Heights Neighborhood of Americus, Georgia. After graduating high school, Wilma moved to Hartford, Connecticut where she met and married James “Jimmy” Howard Hunt. They were blessed with three children La Toria, Lea “Michelle” and James, Jr. By the early 70’s Wilma returned to Americus to rear her children. Wilma worked at Magnolia Manor and later as at T G &Y and several other local retail stores. Wilma enjoyed family, friends and gathering everyone at her home. In 1981, Wilma married Tommie Fuller and lived briefly in Cleveland, Ohio only to return to Americus once again. After several years of illness, Wilma relocated to Richmond, Virginia to be near her daughters. Though far away from home, Americus was always near and dear to Wilma’s heart.
