The funeral service for Mrs. Emma Hartage will be conducted Thursday October 3, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of West’s Mortuary, 731 N Lee Street, Americus, GA with Rev. George F. Monts officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery on Ashby Street, Americus, GA.

Emma Lou Smith Hartage was born on June 18, 1938 in Pelham, Georgia to the late Ms. Argentine Smith. She was married to the love of her life Aldine Hartage for over 45 years. She was employed at Manhattan Shirt Factory for several years. Mrs. Hartage passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Quentin Lamarr Wilson, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Tamika Hartage; five grandchildren: Marvin Tyrell Johnson, Jr., A’Casia LaShae Hartage, Makayla Sharice Hartage, Tayden Lamarr Hartage and Haley Quentavia Hartage; six half-sisters: Phyllis Mercer, Rosazan Marshall, Jennie Scott, Lisa Fisher, Theresa Smith and Michelle Hart;  one sister-in-law, Ruby Lean Hodges, Americus, GA; one devoted neighbor Earnest Berdia White and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

The Funeral Service for Ms. Kimothy Wallace of Americus, Georgia will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Hope Baptist Church with Reverend George Frank Monts officiating. Burial will follow at Eastview Cemetery.

 Kimothy Wallace was born January 5, 1981 to the late Deborah Ann Gordon Wallace and the late James Wallace.  She was educated in the Americus School System. She enjoyed reading books and spending time with her kids. She also loved doing hair for many years.  She worked at the Magnolia Manor in Americus, Georgia.

On September 12, 2019, God embraced Kimothy as she transitioned from labor to reward. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Travis Terrell Jones; a brother, Antonia Gordon; an aunt, Sarah Gordon; two uncles, Carey Gordon and Kenny Gordon; her grandfather, Norman J. Gordon; grandmother, Louise Gordon and great grandmother, Rosa Bell Anthony.

Precious memories will forever remain with her four girls that she loved dearly:  Ny’asia Wallace, Tyasia Jones and Jakayla and Jekyhla Berry; her husband, James Seay; her five brothers that loved her dearly: Jamie Wallace, Timothy Wallace, Julius Wallace, Jonas Wallace and Johanthon Wallace; five aunts: Martha Harvey, Rosa Gordon, Frances Gordon, Robena Butts and a devoted aunt,  Evette (Dwight) Christmas; her great aunt, Cassie May Taylor;  her uncles: Craig (Lisa) Gordon, Tyrone Gordon, Charlie Rufus, Edgar Tyrone and Rodney Gordon, Jimmy Gordon and Herman Stephens; a host of family and friends, including a devoted friend, Isiah Crudup and a devoted cousin, Janice Tucker Floyd.

Mr. Jimmie Brown

The Funeral Service for Mr. Jimmie Brown of Montezuma, Georgia will be conducted on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:00 at New Hope Baptist Church, Montezuma, Georgia. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Jimmie Brown was born January 13, 1946, the oldest of eight, to the late Clifford Brown Sr. and the late Lottie Mae Brown.  Jimmie began his work career at Southern Frozen Foods Inc. where he worked for 9years.  He also worked with Rumph Farms for 45years.  He later retired from Harp-Rumph Farms.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2019, God summoned his Heavenly Angels to the bedside of Jimmie Brown, and peacefully guided him into eternal rest. He was preceded in death by a son, Tyrone Brown, stepson, Ronnie Walker and brother, Clifford Brown, II. 

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Mattie B. Walker-Brown of Montezuma, GA; children and stepchildren: Lucille Brown of Montezuma, GA,  Darlene Brown, Mario Brown (Kimberlee) and Thalia Little (Rickey) of Oglethorpe, GA, Eddie Jackson of Marshallville, GA and Bonnie Walker of Warner Robins, GA;  grandchildren: Rontavous Brown, Deontrae Freeman, Travis Little, Carmesia Freeman and Tivishia Freeman-McClendon (Okeem) of Montezuma, GA, Natasha Daniel (John), Ricardo Brown, Rumeal Brown, Roydeshia Brown of Oglethorpe, GA,  Khammica Robinson, Marisa Walker and Jakeria Caldwell of Warner Robins, GA, Rickey Walker of Perry, GA, Sydni Jackson of Lagrange, GA and Kinsley Tyson of Albany, GA;  siblings: Willie James Brown (Shirley), Terry Brown (Sherry), JS Brown and Florie Jean Harris of Montezuma, GA, Willie Frank Brown and Jerry Brown of Marshallville, GA; sisters-in-law: Fannie Robinson of Oglethorpe, GA, Mildred Ross (James) of Marshallville, GA, Lucille Brown and Annie Smith Allen of Montezuma, GA;  brother-in-law, Curtis Allen of Columbus, GA;  20 great-grandchildren; aunts: Mary Lizzie Brown of Marshallville, GA and Bernice Brown of Miami, FL;  devoted friends: Okeem McClendon, Monroe Hayes Jr. James Wells, David and Pattie Rumph and Howard Rumph; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
