A Graveside Service for Ms. Jacqueline Bridges will be held on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains, Georgia.
Jacqueline Bridges was born in Sumter County, Georgia on December 10, 1964, to the late Mr. R B Bridges and late Mrs. Mary Lou Foster Bridges. At an early age, she gave her life to Christ and joined Lebanon Baptist in Plains, Georgia. Jacqueline was very big on faith and remained strong in trusting God despite the many obstacles she faced. She was educated in the Sumter County Public School System.
On March 19, 2023, Jacqueline transitioned from labor to reward and took her place in heaven. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first-born son, Dexter Le-Aaron; and her siblings: Melvin Bridges, R B Bridges Jr, Carolyn Bridges, Eddie Bridges, Patricia Tatum and James Bridges.
Jacqueline leaves beautiful memories to be cherished by her devoted son, Andre Jemauri Bridges of Americus, Georgia; her loving sisters: Mary (Ray) Moses, Evelyn Bridges, Ealer Rose (Christopher) Mann, and Martha Mitchell, all of Americus Georgia; her caring brothers: Nathaniel Bridges of Americus, Georgia, Jack (Alicia) Bridges of Atlanta, Georgia and Timothy (Melinda) Bridges of Hampton, Georgia; devoted nieces: Kimberly May of McDonough, Georgia, Sha’Rae (Marlon) Brown of Americus, Georgia, Ke’Amber (Tyree) Ford of Monroeville, Pennsylvania, Marlita (Paul) McNeil of Americus, Georgia, Mrs. Monica (Shaun) Williams of Leslie, Georgia, Lacrissa Mann of Athens, Georgia, Rykeyla Bridges of Fairburn, Georgia, Tamra (Clayton) Ivey of Wiesbaden, Germany, Lisa Tatum of Americus, Georgia, Lakeesha Bridges of Americus, Georgia and Kiytia Mable of Americus, Georgia; devoted nephews, Willie (Corina) Bridges of Loganville, Georgia, Marvin (Starkisha) Bridges of Stockbridge, Georgia, James Tatum, Jr. of Americus, Georgia, Avery Bridges of Americus, Georgia, Timothy (Rosa) Bridges, Jr. of State College, Pennsylvania, Torrance Bridges of Hampton, Georgia, Tyron Bridges of Hampton, Georgia, Kelvinske Bridges of Americus, Georgia, Kelsey (Senovia) Bridges of Perry, Georgia, and Kristopher Bridges of Fairburn, Georgia; devoted sister-in-law, Theartis McGrady Bridges of Americus, Georgia; devoted friend, Dorothy Kitchens Floyd of Americus, Georgia; a host of great-nieces and nephews, other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
