The Memorial Service for Mr. Eddie Charles Hall will be held Friday, March 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church, 8620 GA Hwy 26 E, Montezuma, Georgia. Reverend Allen Waters is the pastor. Reverend Rodney Duncan will officiate.

Eddie Charles Hall was born in Oglethorpe, Georgia on December 18, 1959, to the late Charlie Willis Hall and Eveline Powell Hall.  At an early age, he gave his life to Christ and joined New Pond Baptist Church, then later moved his membership to From Disgrace to God’s Grace Ministries. He was a 1978 graduate of D.F. Douglass High School. After high school, he joined the United States Navy and served from January 24, 1979 to January 23, 1982. He  received the Meritorious Unit Commendation and the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. He rose to the rank of Seaman Apprentice and received an honorable discharge.

Charles loved to fish and considered himself to be a jack of all trades. He held various employment positions. Among those were Yoder’s Roofing, Masstock, Southern Frozen Foods, and Georgia Forestry.

On March 6, 2023, Eddie Charles Hall transitioned from Labor to Reward. He had one daughter Lakeisha Marie Hall, who preceded him in death. He was a loving father and grandfather.

Survivors include a loving granddaughter Kerrieonna Hall, Ellaville, Georgia; brothers: Charlie Roy (Tammy) Hall, Fort Valley, Georgia, Marvin Hall, Forest Park, Georgia, Jimmie Lee (Deborah) Hall, Ellaville, Georgia, Tyrone (Chrispian) Hall, Ellenwood, Georgia, Pastor Lee Willis (Sharon) Hall, Oglethorpe, Georgia; uncle, James David Brown, Ideal Georgia, a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
