The Graveside Service for Mrs. Addie Robinson of Americus, Georgia will be held on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Lebanon Cemetery in Plains, Georgia. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we ask that you MASK UP and continue to practice social distancing for your protection and for the protection of others.
Mrs. Addie White Robinson was born on December 18, 1938, in Plains, Georgia to the late Mr. Mose White and the late Mrs. Annie Lee White. She was educated in the Sumter County School System. She was married to the late Mr. Roy Lee Robinson. Mrs. Robinson worked several jobs including Plains Nursing Home, Sarah Cobb School, Staley Middle School, and Cherokee Elementary School. She was a faithful member of New Life Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Elder Johnny Lundy. She was a dedicated Usher for many years.
On February 23, 2023, she transitioned from Labor to Reward. She was preceded in death by her sisters: Mamie Thomas and Ms. Maebell White and her brother, Robert Lee White.
She leaves precious memories with her sisters: Lillie Height of Americus, Georgia and Annie Ross of Plains, Georgia; her nieces and nephews: Leta (Johnny) Thompson, Clyde Hollis, Virginia Durham and Cedrick Ross all of Americus, Georgia, Lawanna Ross, Meshia (Lawrence) Williams and Stanley Thomas of Plains, Georgia and Bernice Pennyman of Griffin, Georgia; a devoted friend, Mattie Jordan of Plains, Georgia; several other relatives and friends.
