The Funeral Service for Mrs. Rosa Mae Cromer of Montezuma, Georgia will be held on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Union Baptist Church, 207 Norris Street, Montezuma, Georgia. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we ask that you MASK UP and continue to practice social distancing for your protection and for the protection of others.

Mrs. Rosa Mae Cromer, affectionately known as “Mank”, was born in Henderson, Georgia on August 27, 1937, to the late William Latson and Carrie Murph. At a very early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Rosa Mae loved life, especially the special moments she shared with her family. She loved going fishing, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Rosa Mae passed away on February 22, 2023, at her residence. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three daughters: Judy Latson, Mildred Louise Brown and Linda Latson; her stepson, Rodney Cromer; and her siblings: Charles Murph, Lucille Gray, Willie Ruth Washngton, Eddie Murph, and Margaret King.

She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memories, her children: Lisa Rouse, Marvin Latson, Joyce (Francis) Respert, Paul Cromer, Stacy (Richard) Ludden, Tracy (Alisha) Cromer, her granddaughter Kimmey Latson who was raised as a daughter, and family friend Barbara Ann Palmer who was just like a daughter; her stepchildren: Sara (John) Walker, Sandra Mallard, Cynthia Cromer, Paula (Conrad) Knibb and Wilbert Cromer; two sisters: Wilhemeina (Willie) Ward and Melvania King; one uncle, Lonnie Rogers; nineteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a host of cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
