It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Mr. Jesse Lee West of Columbus, Ohio. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by West’s Mortuary.
Mr. Jesse Lee West was born on February 25, 1942 in Lee County Georgia to the late Eddie C. West and the late Frances Robinson Morgan. Mr. West was the first of 10 children and was the brother of Rev. Dr. Robert L. Morgan. Others left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Mrs. Bettye Daniels West and a daughter and a son; siblings: Mr. Virgil Lee Morgan, Dr. Mary Nell (Bill) Brown, Ms. Sarah Pride, Linda Faye (Eddie) Smith. Other siblings preceded him in death: Marcellous Morgan, Jasper Morgan, Dedira Smith, and Ella Mae Morgan.
