The Graveside Service for Ms. Denise Miller of Oglethorpe, Georgia will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Whiteline Street, Montezuma, Georgia with Reverend Rodney Duncan, Officiating. Due to COVID-19 concerns, we ask that you MASK UP and continue to practice social distancing for your protection and for the safety of others.

Denise Miller was born April 30, 1963, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Dollie Mae Mangham Miller and Marvin C. Miller. She attended the public schools of Macon County and was a 1982 graduate of D.F. Douglass High School. After battling a season of illness, she passed away at her home in Oglethorpe, Georgia on July 23, 2022. In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by four siblings: Barbara Jean Miller, Marvin Miller Jr., Darrell Miller, and Lee Morris Miller.

She leaves precious memories to be cherished by her children: John Miller of Ideal, Georgia, Michael Miller of Atlanta, Georgia, Monique McCants, Jasmine Miller, Jashaya Miller, Lisa McCants and LaQuinta McCants all of Oglethorpe, Georgia; her brothers: Willie Roy Miller and Morris Miller of Ideal, Georgia; nine grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Ernestine Miller of Butler, Georgia; her aunt, Mary Alice Miller of Ellaville, Georgia; two special nieces: Kiara Miller of Oglethorpe, Georgia and Sabrina Miller of Fort Valley, Georgia; several loving nieces; a loving nephew; her close friend, Ernestine Chatfield of Montezuma, Georgia; her close friend and riding partner, Charlene Mitchell; her devoted friend, Beverly Harper; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
