Wynette Patricia Larry was born January 27, 1955, in Montezuma, Georgia to the late Mr. Henry Lee Harris Sr. and the late Ms. Mattie Julia Westberry. She was a 1973 graduate of Macon County High School and a 1974 graduate of South Georgia Technical College with a degree in Cosmetology. Wynette was the owner and operator of Larry’s Daycare and would care for generations of children. Through fostering and Larry’s Daycare, she leaves a legacy of family love and nurturing of children. Her favorite pastimes included listening to music, dancing, and spending time with her family.

Wynette confessed her faith at an early age at New Hope Baptist Church in Montezuma, Georgia. She was a friendly and loving person that exemplified the scripture Ephesians 4:32, “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”  In addition to her love for her church, she was a dedicated member of Eunice Chapter #164 OES.  On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, Wynette made her transition from this world and gained her wings.

Memories will be forever cherished by her children: Sherman Larry, Isaiah Larry, and Jeremy Larry all of Montezuma, Georgia, and Yolanda Larry of Fort Valley, Georgia; grandchildren: D’Kyra Harmon of Warner Robins, Georgia, Jasmine Larry of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Shamarion Larry and Broderick Larry of Montezuma, Georgia, Tyler Thomas of Andersonville, Georgia, Sean Mann of Americus, Georgia, Elijah Larry, Taylor Larry, and Morgan Larry all of Fort Valley, Georgia and King Larry of Albany, Georgia; siblings: Gaynette Mckenzie and Bobby Westberry (Elizabeth) of Montezuma, Georgia, Phillip Westberry (Cathy) of Tacoma, Washington, Henry Lee Harris Jr. of Buffalo, New York, Tony Westberry (Karin) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Debra Bell-Dison of Albany, Georgia; sister-in-law, Dollie West of Montezuma, Georgia; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
