The Graveside Service for Mr. Simmie Lee Jackson of Americus, Georgia will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Eastview Cemetery in Americus, Georgia. Mr. Jackson passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. Mr. Simmie Lee Jackson, Jr. was born in Sumter County, GA on December 24, 1958 to the late Mr. Simmie Lee Jackson, Sr, and Mrs. Lillie Mae Jackson. He received his education in the public schools of Sumter County, GA. Simmie worked at Reeves Construction Company for several years until God called him home. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Willie Lu Smith.
He leaves loving memories with his devoted daughter, Mikayla Jackson; four siblings: Willie James Broner, Patrisha Jackson, Christopher Jackson and Evelyn D. Broner; a devoted friend, Ethel Adams; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends also survive.
