A graveside service for Mr. Kenneth Terrell Rush of Americus, Georgia will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. at the Eastview Cemetery with Bishop Melvin McCluster officiating.

Kenneth Terrell Rush, known as Tee to loved ones unexpectedly passed away on July 26th, 2020 in Macon, Georgia at the age of 47.

Tee was born to James and Robin Johnson on December 9, 1972 in Americus, Georgia. He graduated from Americus High School in 1991 then attended Albany State University to pursue a degree in computer science. Shortly after he left the Albany Police Department, Tee enrolled into the Army, serving our country for over 6 years as a medical professional. While in the military he earned several decorations, including the Army Service Ribbon, Marksman Badge, Sharp Shooter Badge and an accomplished medical specialization.

After his military service Tee worked as a Guard at the Calhoun Correctional Facility and then joined the Albany State Police Department. After moving to Atlanta Tee began a 12-year career at Norfolk Southern as a Conductor and worked his way up the ranks to Train Master. Tee was a generous and witty person who loved his children dearly and was passionate about his career and setting an example for his siblings.

Kenneth Rush (Tee) is survived by his parents, James and Robin Johnson; his wife, Angel Rush; daughters, TaSheena Kinney (Francois) and Kennedy Rush; siblings, Sekeithia Brooks (Wayne), Orenza Johnson (Glenese), Kimberly Johnson, Darius Johnson (Trina); Ronald Solomon, grandchildren Jalen and Lauren Kinney; aunts, Malinda Morgan, JoAnn Waymon, Mertis Johsnon; uncle Miller Rush (Emma), Mark Clark; cousins, Yohannes Hollis, Terrence Rush (Yanti), Tamika Whitlock (Terrence), Shaketia Morgan, Travis Rush (Carla); a host of nieces, nephews, He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Mrs. Helen O. Wright Barner and his great-grandmother, Gertrude Hollis johnson; other relatives and friends, including devoted friends, Charlie, Marcus, Chris, Derreck, Timothy and Earnest.

To the Rush family please accept my deepest condolences for the loss of your love one. Words cannot express how we feel when someone we love dies. But we do have a hope at Revelation 21:3,4.
