A Graveside Service for Mr. John C. Adams, Jr. Of Vienna, Georgia will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery in Dooly County, Georgia.
Because of concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines have limited the number of people that are allowed to attend services to 10 or less including ministers and funeral staff. Please practice social distancing and WEAR MASKS for your safety and the safety of others.
John Clarence Adams, Jr. affectionately known as “John C” was born on March 14, 1946 in Dooly County, Georgia to the late Alice Tinsley Adams and the late John C. Adams, Sr.
“John C” enjoyed barbecuing and hanging out with his family. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He departed this life on June 9, 2020 at the Phoebe-Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary F. Adams and a son Tony Adams.
His beautiful life will forever be cherished by his four daughters: Barbra Hardy of Warner Robins, Georgia, Mary Adams and Elizabeth Adams of Americus, Georgia and Valencia Jon’Vaney Hamilton of Cordele, Georgia; five sons: John Adams of Plains, Georgia, Oscar Freeman of Montezuma, Georgia, Willie C. Moore and Bobby Adams of Cordele, Georgia; five sisters: Ruthie Trice of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mae Nell Hardrick of Vienna, Georgia, Bernell Ross of Warner Robins, Georgia, Lucy Adams of Smyrna, Georgia and Betty Merrell of Vienna, Georgia; He is also survived by Roalie Adams, Alonzo Adams, James Adams, Jerome Adams and Michael Lango of Cordele, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and sorrowing friends.
