I knew Pappy as Uncle. We didn't get to spend a lot of time together but the time we did and the talks we had on the telephone let me know that he cared about me and he knew I cared about him. I got to know a lot about him from my mom Annie R. Buckles. I will miss our telephone conversations. I extended many invitations to him to come visit me but it never happened. Maybe because of his failing health. I would like the family to know that I feel a great loss also. I thank God for the man he was. May he rest from his labor and receive his just reward from the only ONE that can truly judge him.
