Funeral services for Mr. Joe Louis Bruce, Jr. age 47 of Americus, Georgia will be Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at Shipp Chapel Missionary Church with Pastor Daniel Clinton officiating. Burial will follow at the Israel Cemetery. Mr. Bruce died on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family of Mr. Bruce. He was my student and I have fond memories of him. I pray that he is at peaceful rest now.
